(Hackensack, NJ) – The Eastern Bergen County Board of REALTORS® (EBCBOR) Community Service & Outreach committee participated in their annual ‘Dinner with a Realtor’ this past Monday. EBCBOR members gathered at the Bergen County Housing, Health and Human Services in Hackensack, NJ where they served over 100 meals to people in need.

Each year, EBCBOR partners with Bergen Family Promise Dinner and participate in the Walk-In Dinner program as a way to stay connected and give back to the community.

Family Promise has been committed to feeding the hungry since 1991. Every day of the year, a different group is scheduled to prepare and serve dinner at the Health and Human Services Center in Hackensack. Up to 150 people are served a nutritious meal each night.

“Each year we, as an organization work with the organization, and I have to say that each year its more rewarding than the last.” Said EBCBOR Board President, Chandrika Singh of Century 21 All Stars. He continued, “I am so proud of just how committed our members are to giving back to the community. Whether it’s through monetary donation or hands on volunteering, EBCBOR members are always ready. I look forward to continuing to see our partnership with Bergen Family Promise grows even more, and that we continue to be a part of this great initiative.”

EBCBOR, chartered in 1923, has served Realtors and consumers in Bergen County for more than 90 years. As a not-for-profit trade organization, it represents over 4,000 Realtor members in Bergen and Hudson Counties.
