The Eastern Bergen County Board of Realtors® Global Business Council Receives Platinum Award from the National Association of Realtors

(Boston, M.A.) - The Eastern Bergen County Board of Realtors® (EBCBOR) Global Business Council achieved Platinum status for the fourth year in a row in the 2018 National Association of Realtors’ (NAR) Global Business Council Achievement Program.  Jorge Ledesma, CEO, Chandrika ‘Basil’ Singh, 2018 EBCBOR President, and Ronnie Khurana Global Council vice Chair accepted the award at the Global Achievement Award reception at the NAR Annual Conference & Expo in Boston, M.A.  This award is a coveted honor given to a select few of the over 100 global business councils nationwide, each of which has shown exceptional commitment to building members' awareness of the global and multicultural business opportunities.

EBCBOR’s Global Business Council, established in 2011 provides members with the tools necessary to participate in the international real estate arena. They have effectively demonstrated the utmost commitment to helping the members capture their share of the global real estate market in the United States. They have achieved this through educational seminars, networking events, where through keynote speakers, and seasoned professional, they educate our members on an array of topics, which include customs, culture, and business practice. 

In addition to domestic outreach, EBCBOR’s Global Business Council works to build close business relationships around the world. EBCBOR is the Ambassador Association to Korea. The Ambassador Program is loosely based on the international Sister-City programs in which NAR appoints a REALTOR® association to each of their bilateral foreign partner associations.   

“As new to not only the association, but also in a leadership role, said Ronnie Khurana, Vice Chair for the Global Business Council, “I am completely blown away by what we have accomplished this year." Ronnie continued, “we have established new relationships with Chambers of Commerce across the state, fostered a solid relationship with new construction sites catered to the multicultural market, and will be heading to the U.N. to meet with officials. I am truly honored to be able a part of such an amazing organization, and look forward to what is to come in the future”.
